11. Editing Titles
To edit an existing title,
- Click the Work on Existing Titles and Folders link, either on the JacketCaster Home page or in the left-hand navigation bar.
- Select the title you'd like to work on. If you have organized your titles into folders, you must navigate to the folder in which the title is stored. You always start in your Main folder, at the top of your folder tree. Click on any folder to open it. When you select a title, you will see the Title Options page. The Title Options page displays core bibliographic data about the title you selected, plus the date when the information was last updated. Below the bibliographic data, you can see the title's Export Status and Maintenance Options.
- Scroll down to the Edit/Add Data section. You can choose to see all the fields available (Expanded View), or just the data you have entered (Condensed View). The data is divided into ten sections.
- Find the section you want to edit, and click on the "Edit/Add" link in the title bar of that section.
- Make your additions and changes.
- Save your changes. You will be taken back to the Title Options page, and your changes will be displayed.
- Repeat steps 4 through 6 until you have finished editing the title.
