SANTA CLARA, Calif. -(Dow Jones)- Yahoo! Inc. (YHOO) Monday launched Yahoo! Entertainment Guide to give users customized online and off-line entertainment information about local happenings, as well as TV listings and online Net events.

In a press release Monday, the Internet communications, commerce and media company said it will obtain content and listings for the site from Active.com, CultureFinder.com, Gigmania, FilmFestivals.com, NetRead, TheatreMania.com, Ticketmaster Online CitySearch Inc. (TMCS), TSCentral.com and WhatsGoingOn.com.
